Alice Kerber
2011 Hummingbird Award for Dedication
Alice Kerber is an oncology clinical nurse specialist at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta and currently serves a nurse navigator for the thoracic oncology program at Saint Joseph’s.
Alice also serves as the Genetics Nurse Coordinator, educating patients and managing all aspects of genetic testing for the oncology program.
Throughout her career, Alice has worked extensively and compassionately with lung cancer patients and their families. She is a frequent presenter at community education events and cancer survivorship programs. Alice is a tremendous advocate and resource for lung cancer patients and their families.
She is heavily involved with the lung cancer support group at Saint Joseph’s and is the Study Coordinator for the International Early Lung Cancer Action Program at Saint Joe’s. Alice is a tireless advocate and supporter of lung cancer patients.
